About Rick Cunningham
Owner and award-winning designer/illustrator, I specializing in corporate identification and marketing support services. I'm good at creating messages with a bold design style that gets right to the point with clear visual expression. I'm not old, yet, but I bring a wealth of experience on a variety of national and local accounts including complete campaigns. I have done work for clients as big as General Motors and as small as my brother's restaurant, the Red Tomato. I was also a long time instructor of graphic arts at Lansing Community College.
Graphic Artist: A type of fine art, graphic art covers a broad range of art forms. Graphic art is typically two-dimensional and includes calligraphy, photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, lithography, typography, serigraphy (silk-screen printing), and bindery. Graphic art also consists of drawn plans and layouts for interior and architectural designs. Today, graphic art is usually associated with commercial art that is used in marketing. In this case, the purpose of the graphic art is to capture the interest of the audience on the product or service in order to increase the volume of business.
